How to Embed ClustrMaps to Your Blog

Okay, I’m new in blog world. I don’t know anything about html or some “sophisticated” words in web design, but I want to make my blog stand out from others. And I found little box called ClustrMaps is cool. Why? Because you can track where your readers come from and you can see what you wrote already spread out. Beside that, the custom-made widget(s) on your blog, along with the different fonts, add up some sense of personality. So, after I read some blogs, I decided to add ClustrMaps, but the only question is how?

And so, just like any other smart people in the world, I started to google and after clicking one or two blog, I finally found the step-to-step tutorial on how to do it, but too bad they didn’t provide it with the pic (this is essential for visual people like me).

So this is how to embed ClustrMaps to your blog (which is very easy):

Fill the URL and e-mail box to create a new map

1. Go to and fill the URL and e-mail box to create a new map.
2. They will send you the password to your e-mail.
3. Log in with the password they gave you to your e-mail.

This is the HTML code for you to copy

4. Copy the HTML code.
5. Go to your dashboard and click Widgets under Appearance
6. Click and drag Text to your sidebar

Paste the code here

7. Click the drop-down menu and paste the HTML code.
8. Click save.

You can also put the title for that box (in my case: Visitors Location) then check if the widget is already embedded on your blog. You should wait for a day until those beautiful tiny red dots start to appear on your map and showing where your readers come from.
